I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a job for someone to gain customer service experience.

    Cons

    Low pay, poor management, understaffed.

    Advice to Management

Pathways should take just 3 months to complete. Shouldn't have a waiting period in order to go onto the next section of Pathways. Back up your cashiers when there are rude customers. They don't get paid enough to be mistreated. Rude customers also hold up the line. Better for a manager to intervene until the customer leaves. Less stressful for the cashier and the people waiting in line. Customer is much less likely to misbehave and cause a scene when a manager is present.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Every shift goes by fast as long as you stay busy and there's ALWAYS stuff to stay busy with.
Two 15 breaks, 1 hour lunch.
Pays more than any other entry level retail positions in my city + annual performance based raises.
If you're a good worker, you won't have to worry about getting hours cut ever.
    Very lax with attendance

    Cons

Very difficult to get time off approved
    Favoritism
    Co worker gossip/drama
    Day shift workers are annoying

    Advice to Management

Hold the lazy people accountable instead of making the hard working people pick up the slack and forgetting about it
