I have been working at Walmart part-time for less than a year

    Pros

So far so good fast paced environment. Your time goes by quickly.

    Cons

Some of the workers just do a half-ass job just doing their job as quickly as possible and to just get home.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time training your supervisor and department managers on being more through and efficient.

I have been working at Walmart part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Currently, lots of work hours. However, I believe that cashiers will be phased out and replaced by self-checkouts.

    Cons

CSMs act as task masters. They give very little feedback about how to correct register malfunctions even when asked. Perhaps they fear losing their role if they give out too much information.

    Advice to Management

More training for CSM on interpersonal skills.
