    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Walmart part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Better than minimum wage, managers were kind and helpful

    Cons

Cashiers are not informed as to where things are, so when customers ask, it may take a while to work out finding something specific

I worked at Walmart part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good hours, work on your own if in a department.

    Cons

Expect more and more and more out of you, but if you are lazy when hired then not expected to do much

    Advice to Management

Give good employees rewards and punish the slackers.

I have been working at Walmart full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are a lot of opportunities. The store culture is laid back and easy to express your personality. Great for a first time job out of high school or after retirement.

    Cons

Lack of pro active customer service. Many of the associates walk by customers or each other without acknowledgement. Not very organized. Product location system very confusing. Dirty. No wireless phone for the department (hard to get to calls).

    Advice to Management

Walk the floor to promote customer engagement from the associates. Try to get a wireless phone in each department so customer phone calls are answered efficiently.
