    Pros

    you can move up fast only if u the managers like you.loved working but some management needs work.got fill time in over 6 months

    Cons

    it wasn't the best experience we always had short staff and I always had to pick up the slack of other associates.

    need to train employees more and staff

    Pros

    Upbeat associates. Happy customers (most of the time). Some great managers.

    Cons

    Switching managers around during inoperative times. Expecting too much from associates when short handed on given days and times. Managers not willing to work with you on work ethics to help improve your abilities.

    Advice to Management

    Don't change half way through evaluation periods and give half assed evaluations. Make work more fun by doing activities at given points of the month or year, renewing vigor and drive, and allowing associates to work better. Don't tell new hires they can be something other than a sales associate, and then not give them the opportunity to prove they can or say the position is not available.

    10% discount, co workers are great,

    low pay, rude customers, really risky when unloading from freezer trucks

    It's like a family. They always did their best to work around my schedule with my kids.

    Cons

    Part time employee don't get much for benefits which made it hard to work the hours I worked knowing I'd never get benefits for my family.

    Advice to Management

    People placement. Make sure that you have the right people in the right positions. Anyone can do any job bit the high people in the right places make for a happy and helpful environment. It's not hard to see where people thrive and where they dont. Get the best out of your employees

    Advancing and learning new things are a plus at Walmart it's great for growth...

    Never get to comfortable in any position because they will snatched it right from under you.

    Telling the truth is not hard...Don't down talk the employees....

    * hard to advance to better positions
