    Pros

Work Life balance, probably one the best in Bangalore.

    Cons

Some teams are doing a great job, but it boils down to your manager and team. I, fortunately, had a great time here. I do have a complaint with HR department as to why they didn't gave me profile of my choice as per my skillset.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

India center is geared for growth and ownership
Walmart scale, the size of customer problems we are going after is exciting
Product Management work here is now high impact
    Leadership is getting stronger

    Cons

Too many stakeholders to manage, across geos and very distributed teams

    Advice to Management

Keep championing ownership, end to end work
Leverage the synergies of having all divisions represented in one location

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good work life balance sometimes, Scale of Data, Challenging problems to solve in some teams

    Cons

politics.. US teams generally do all the good work. Scale of the data is huge but the infrastructure is horrible. It takes ages to run simple MR jobs. Lack of good platform.

No effort to retain good employees. They are interested in hiring new folks with lesser talent.

There is no guarantee that you will get your variable component especially at higher levels

    Advice to Management

    Value talent..

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    1) If lucky can get to work on good projects
    2) If you are ex yahoo employee or referred by ex yahoo and current walmart employee then free entry with good package.

    Cons

    1) Too much power rivalry between teams.
    2) Bad management and HR policy
    3) Very bad compensation and salary
    4) Sudden implementation of bell curve so that employees with more than 1 year and not to be given bonus and benefits.
    5) A lot of ex Yahoo emplyees who play favoritism for themselves.
    6) Ex yahoo employees only try to project themselves as great
    7) Sudden bell curve and bad ratings to employees all of a sudden just because someone at the top management dreamt of it.
    8) Bonus will never be given if you cross 2 years of work.
    9) No work life balance. Not at all.

    Advice to Management

Respect existing employees. Ex yahoo group is recruiting other members in their team as a scape goat so that during rating time they will be given bad rating. That solves two purpose 1) To show they are superiors to others 2) To save themselves from bad rating enforced by the bell curve.
