I have been working at Walmart (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy interview, took about 3 minutes for them to offer me the job. Get thanked a lot which is nice. 10% discount after 90 days. Everyday is different and interesting. Get to hear a bunch of stupid questions that make pretty good stories for after work.

    Cons

Scheduling is all over the place you can start one day at 4pm and 7am the next. Almost never given the proper equipment to do my job as a sales associate. Shift lengths change every day, anywhere from 4 to 9 hours, so it's hard to get a routine

    Advice to Management

Give people a set schedule and the tools they need.

Really cares about their employees. Willing to hire a lot of people with disabilities, or other incapabilities. Overall takes good care of employees

    Cons

You get to see some really weird stuff while working at walmart, especially if you are working overnight shifts, so be prepared

    Advice to Management

None, really just overall your basic retail service company, you get what you get while working in that kind of field

    Pros

    Advice to Management

Take 1/2 a sec and hire ppl that can/will do the work you want not just bodies that roam aimlessly around the store
