I have been working at Walmart part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Close to home and avoid driving in traffic.

    Cons

Management is constantly changing. Lacks consistency overall. No training. Sloppy guide book to look through for troubleshooting. Baking troubleshooting with a book is a joke.

    Advice to Management

Give compliments when deserved. Stop with all the negative directions. A smile and a pat on the back when deserved will go a long ways. Managers go around looking for what you might be doing wrong. Ex. I sweep and clean the bakery floors and what does the manager say? What are you using to mop? Wrong you have to use this... First of all you should try to lead by example. A happy associate is more valued then an unhappy associate.

I have been working at Walmart full-time

    Pros

It all depends on the market/store you work in. Full time hours is a good thing. A steady schedule, usually 7 to 4.

    Cons

Often you are juggling stocking freight, paperwork, managing your associates (if you have any), and following up with your supervisor. It can be quite a task at times
