    Pros

    The company believe in training and building up their employees. They want to see you succeed as an employee and will invest their time and money to train you properly with pay. Great work environment. Lots of entry level and professional job opportunities. Many opportunities to grow within the company. Great Management team.

    Cons

    Not that many cons. Great work place but salary managers have to work long hours a day but don't get paid for overtime work.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

    I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    After the first year, the benefits are very good. basic health care is very affordable and 6% 401k matching. They now offer college reimbursement and pay for GED's if you need it. Also, you can transfer to several locations worldwide if need be

    Cons

    New policies make Walmart inflexible with Jobs and availability, management can be very lazy and no training or clear direction.

    Listen to your associates, they know what the real issues are

    Change, Change, Change! Only one annual bonus, and the're quick to change your job title and duties without more compensation.

    I don’t like the point system because I catch public transportation and it is very unreliable.

    Pros

    Great pay especially for this area, nice people for the most part, decent schedules.

    Cons

    HIGH TURNOVER RATE. Walmart dc does not care about their associates. Their policies are ridiculous. For example, if you get hurt, it’s on you. They have unrealistic expectations. The work environment is harsh and unsafe.

    Pros

    Great people to work with in the pharmacy.
    Staff made an effort to help you learn everything.
    Starting pay was decent.

    Cons

    Scheduling was not flexible.
    Rude customers, and even worse doctor's offices.
    Other departments would not communicate with ours.
    Kept changing pay structures and made it impossible to get a raise.

    Advice to Management

    Store managers should have more respect for their pharmacy managers and staff.
