I worked at Walmart full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is a job. Seriously that is about all. Thinking about it is a job for someone just starting out of high school.

    Cons

This is a billion dollar company, they do not pay for any holidays. This job is a production base job. Some of the supervisors do not know anything. They sent on the behinds all day, and send emails about aged work, and production. Darn I should have been a supervisor. I read the previous review yes the job is very missing leading yes you only have two chances to pass test. It is not a professional place by any means. Walk fast, because you may get hit in the parking lot by someone going 50 miles per hour. Favoritism is over the top here. Never seen a place where supervisor's socialize with the employees so much. Text each other, gossip. I am telling you run for the hills on this job. There is zero to none worklife balance. I could go on. Lastly this job is not an Account Specialist III, it is definitely analyst, and reconciliation type work, but if that was the title Walmart would have to pay more money.

    Advice to Management

Look up with a cooperate environment is all about. Hold supervisor's more accountable.

I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay is great. The scheduling is decent. You get to meet different people and personalities. Depending on your interest, they will have you do work in other departments if you were interested in transferring departments.

    Cons

The scheduling like I said is decent. If you were to get a 2nd job, you would have to get the Walmart job first due to them requiring you to make any changes to your schedule 2 weeks in advance. You could be scheduled 4pm-12am on Monday and then 6am-2pm the next morning and you could switch shifts but if you don't find a replacement, you would have to come in.

    Advice to Management

Management can be sketchy at time. They have good intentions but sometimes the intentions aren't completely pure.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The hiring requirements are very low. If you need a job you can find one at Walmart. It is fairly easy to move up as a hourly employee.

    Cons

Salaried management cannot be trusted. They will sell you out in a minute. Management wants you to believe that the employees are important, but you are just a number. Your well being or career is of no concern to them.

    Advice to Management

Be honest and upfront. Actually care about your employees.
