I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good pay. Good hourly people employed that will treat you like family. Can make a career if you stay in lower ranks at lower wage.

    Cons

No security. Ppl will be losing jobs soon. Long term is negative. Too many whispers, after 25 yrs, displaced with no explanation why. Stay away!

    Advice to Management

Sam would dissapprove of your restructure that was graded with favortism. People are more than numbers. Be careful with Karma.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There is a lot of movement available in the company if you chose to do so. People like to meme the walmart shoppers and employees but 98% of them are just nice people even holidays don't get super crazy.

    Cons

Walmart breeds a very toxic environment between employees and between their management team. It is always what is best for yourself and for your department not what is best for the store or the customer. It keeps management turned on each other and the associates. It becomes quickly reminiscent of cliche high school drama.

    Advice to Management

Listen to what Sam Walton said and listen to your associates. Ask them how they think things are going on a more regular basis and not just yearly "grass roots" meetings.
