I worked at Walmart full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Decent pay, organized, enjoyable co-workers, good for a sit down job

    Cons

Expect miracles out of new people, act like dictators instead of bosses, terrible hours, limited training, not helpful, do not allow FUN, like their employees to be miserable.

    Advice to Management

Try to understand what the employees are going through. My particular company was contracted with Verizon. Our lives are threatened just about every phone call. Not ever customer is easy as you believe, so coming to our cubicles to degrade us for having longer than expected calls. The job may seem easier when you only handle a small amount of unruly customers, but it is not. It is very stressful especially when... management breathes down your back. If an employee is obviously having problems with the job, then talking to them privately is the correct thing to do. Everyone is nearby in the cubicles and we can hear when you discipline employees publicly.
