I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Pretty good pay for hardly any prior work experience. Decent profit share. Fast pace environment. Lots of opportunity for growth.

    Cons

Absolutley no home life until you reach Co-Manager. Constantly understaffed. Forced Manager of the whole store, then gripped at when your area isn't where it needs to be. Hard to find good workers. You wear lots of hats. Customers suck.

    Advice to Management

Our associates treat their customers exactly how our managers treat our associates.

    Pros

Great benefits. Good work life balance depending on the manager.

    Cons

Politics run high and work does not always get recognized. HR or higher management is not concerned about your concerns. Any reaching out, Surveys/Feedbacks can come back to hurt employees.

    Advice to Management

Please appreciate and listen to your employee concerns. Be approachable.
