I worked at Walmart full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was a good environment all the employees were easy to get along with considering how many people worked there, they were always high on clean maintinecing and customer service.

    Cons

Their attendance policy is just ridiculous. The other cashier and works were always fine but the management was horrible. They do no respect the employees and they are very rude.

    Advice to Management

Learn to better manage and treat each and every individual the same. They always done the favoritism thing and I think that honestly it was a race issue.

    Pros

Medical is decent and it's steady work

    Cons

Poor communication between management and their employees often times two or more manager of the same rank will give out conflicting orders to the people beneath them causing chaos and unnecessary stress.

I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Liked my specific job. Loved most of my coworkers. Computer training was super easy. Customers were always number one priority.

    Cons

Never got my raise after I graduated pathways. Management was crap. Didn’t care to ask my side of the story and listened to rumors ONE coworker kept spreading about me. Attendance policy sucks. Doctors notes are not accepted and become unexcused absences counting towards points before you’re fired.

    Advice to Management

Talk to your employees and ask around rather than taking one persons word. That’s how you lose out on good employees.

great company, pay, benefits, breaks, hour lunch, some employees & customers are cool & fun to interact with...

    Cons

other folks not so much, manager, most of management, and even co-workers don't even speak to you much less even acknowledge that you exist, not flexible, after four strikes in a 6 month period you're out.

    Advice to Management

liven up... remember Sam Waltons reason for success not just in business & with customers but in keeping good employees. stop with all the stuck up rudeness & favoritism.. it doesn't reflect the company well.
