I worked at Walmart as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay; great working environment - Game room! Great mentor.

    Cons

I was sitting in front of computer entire summer learning and working on a full stack app they assigned me. I wrote most of the code with minimal help/guidance from the mentor. At end of my internship, I presented the functional full stack app. I did not get an offer.
All other interns in the same department got the offer, because they did not bother with their project but walking around the department to please the management.
Conclusion: You need to be a great office politician to receive a offer.

*Another thing: all employees in the team I was interning in spends > 50% of time talking about family and pets during the work hours.

    Advice to Management

Please consider hiring someone who actually do the work.
