I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you get cool managers and coworkers, it makes it a lot better place to be.

    Cons

Make sure you are strong willed and thick skinned to work at this company. It is necessary for survival. Anytime you go on vacation or anything of the sort, make sure you have all your documentation.

    Advice to Management

Maybe take it easier on some of the employees?

    Pros

The reasons to work at walmart were the bonuses, steady check, close locations and the ease of obtaining the job during the recession.

    Cons

Working for walmart is terrible, the moral of associates was deplorable. Management did not care of safety or the employees well being. The bottom line was all walmart looked for.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating employees like animals and kids. Build a culture around associates and customers not product and price. Allow people with the right credentials to move up in the company and stop paying people just slightly above minimum wage.
