I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Pretty solid benefits, school programs (hard to get into) great dental, and a hub to get discounts on rentals or tickets/services 10% store and .com discount Quarterly bonus based off store profit and customer experience

    Cons

Toxic management all the way to the top Brainwashing Extremely demanding work with very little reward CEOs and home office keeps adding responsibilities with no compensation or extra hours.

    Advice to Management

Actually go back to how Sam Walton wanted the company to be! They quote Mr. Sam all the time but then do the exact opposite of how he built the company.

    Pros

    Advice to Management

better pay for your supervisors, and less hours for salaries.

I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Ecommerce is growing rapidly! $15 is more than enough for this specific job title. It’s fun, it’s new, and you really get to bond with your team! Almost like team sports as a kid!

    Cons

Low moral, stores get hours cut a lot, everyday low cost means cutting a few corners on quality in general.

    Advice to Management

Personally go up to associates and show appreciation. Bonuses are great, calling out associates on their performance motivates them and creates better people/employees.

    Pros

Meeting new people, trying new things, seeing the future direction that retail is going.

    Cons

A lot of work for a small amount. 15.00 a hour is not worth the stress of the amount of work.

I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Walmart is a great place to build work history and learn to work under pressure.

    Cons

There isn't enough staffing or hours in the day to complete all your tasks and have a successful department. No matter how hard you try upper management will always find something wrong and there aren't really any rewards for hard work or a job well done.

    Advice to Management

Reward your associates for their hard work and you will have more associates that actually work hard.
