I have been working at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

I have been working at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you can survive there benefits are good.

    Cons

They give you hours then take them away. If you need x amount to survive it won't happen here. If the boss doesn't like you you most likely will see less hours. If the company has bad seasons people get hours cut.

    Advice to Management

Some of upper managment can be extreamly nasty talking to associates and supervisors. Even the customers that hear it complain when they hear them.
People have to make a living constantly fluxuating hours makes a hard ship on all. See how much each has to have and Liston. You always say we are family that sounds good but not so good when you try to support family.

I worked at Walmart full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Managers and team members were relaxed and helpful. I worked overnight so it was much more tranquil than daytime, but that's when all the major restocking and cleaning got done. That being said you could do what you needed to do and more rather easily. (At least this was at my location, which was in NE NC)

    Cons

Depending on how you look at it, lots of overtime. I personally did not mind it but others seemed to.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work (the overnight management).
