I have been working at Walmart for more than a year

    Pros

Good Company to work for it the management gets it act right. Lots of opportunities to grow for the company. They Invest a lot of money into E Commerce which is a good sign

    Cons

Management seems mostly clueless. Food at cafeteria is pathetic, Mostly feels like jail food. Certain small things make a huge difference for your experience as an employee(Healthy good food/Clean restrooms/Fun Fridays)None of that exists. Seems like too much politics and you have to be on good books with certain people to survive or you will be branded . People try to create a Monoply . Hiring new people to change the culture is a good idea but new joiners feel stifled by lack of support. Few things need to be changed and Management can easily change this place from a so so work place to a very good enriching work experience

    I worked at Walmart full-time

    Pros

Free food, free transportation . Salary is decent

    Cons

I was about a year in Walmart. Most horrible company culture I have witnessed. Extremely horrible and arrogant manager. 1. Manager only appreciates bootlicking. The more you lick, more your life is easy. 2. Manager dont have any skill. He was there in company for 7 years, did bootlicking and became manager. 3. He spies on people he dont like. He like to showcase his power by bullying them and making their life miserable. 4. Only monitor graph and do support work 5. Manager is too immature , full time makes fun of others. 6. Extreme level of politics. They have talent to suck all the positive energy from the talented people just to satisfy and boost their ego. If you will not bootlick they mock at you, demean you and what not they do to force you to leave this toxic culture PS: This doesnt even deserve 1 rating. But we dont have option for 0 or negative.

I have been working at Walmart full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Good salary, free food,free cab

    Cons

1.Hell lot of politics because of stupid bell curve they follow. 2.Too many people in the company for the work they have. 3. No new technologies being used. 4.No innovation at all. 5. If you have even a small scratch on your laptop, they will charge huge amount from the employees(Even though laptop is under warranty). 6.You can only change teams after 1 year. That too you have to be very good rated.
