    Pros

Flexible schedule. Learn about dealing with customers and many skills. Learn as much as you want to with the possibility for training if you put the time in.

    Cons

Management was terrible when I was there. Managers that couldn't check oil would tell you how to do your job.

    Advice to Management

Learn your areas well before tell the associates how to do their job. Don't just brush advice aside because it came from an associate.

I have been working at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Job is ok, and is nice to actually have a sense of accomplishment when I leave work and acknowledgment of my work from supervisors

    Cons

Wish that company wouldn't be cutting hours from hourly employees around the holidays. It makes things difficult to make ends meet when your making only slightly over minimum wage to begin with

    Advice to Management

Offer the part time employees at least 24-32 hours a week

I worked at Walmart (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Walmart is a great place to work. The associates work as a team to ensure great customer service. There is always an opportunity to advance and the Management team is very encouraging.

    Cons

The only thing I would change is a need for more cashiers and more associates working the floor for better customer satisfaction.

    Advice to Management

Listen more to the associates. They have great ideas that would boost sales
