    Allot of opertunity to change from one position of the store to another.

    Cons

    If you want full time you need to be gradfathered in or be a manager.

    All people can be great and do great things it takes a little inspiration to make great grand.

    Working retail gives you good experience.

    Getting into an auto accident on your day off from work is a bad thing.

    I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Great associates, wide verity of backgrounds. Vision plan was great. There was always a great sense of being a part of the team.

    Cons

    The pay is not worth being in management. Long hours, and little home time. I wasn't able to spend time in the area I was in charge of, always had to spend time assisting the front end because they wouldn't hire cashiers.

    The 10% employee discount is about it

    Cons

    Management team has no idea what they're doing. People get farther by sucking up than by working hard favoritism is obvious

    Treat your employees like they mean something

    Lots of experience dealing with people of all types.

    Dealing with said people of varying range, and the politics too.

    No real downside, I love the job

    Not much recognition for working harder then the norm, Poor management structure, Corporation cares way too much about profits then its employees more then any other company iv worked for.
