I worked at Walmart as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people on the team. Excellent Associate engagement activities.
    Interesting work with decent training.

    Cons

Training was meant for day to day regular work, but I was hired as a holiday temp and the training could have been tweaked to better serve our purpose.
There was no time off allowed during the holiday to spend with family, and I might have stayed if that wasn't the case. Opportunity for career growth seemed limited.

The new CEO running things is taking what Sam Walton stood for and no longer upholding the culture, It has turned out like every other big corp business of today. People do not matter only money and greed.
