I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The best reason i found to work at walmart is the people. The ones who work there and customers.

    Cons

The main reason i no longer work there is the policy on call ins. The company has no understanding of disabled children.

    Advice to Management

Be understanding for hardworking employees who have no alternative but to call in due to disabled children.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

dependable company, advancement opportunities, nation wide

    Cons

advancement opportunities depend on luck and chance more than anything, walmart in general treats employees bad, pay is low when starting out, it may take years to reach reasonable pay, even after years of work the pay may not be adequate, work standards are much to stringent and difficult to meet considering the low pay for beginners, in short--low pay for work required and no respect for hourly workers

    Advice to Management

it doesnt matter what advice i give, managers dont care about the workers---managers cover thier own interests and thats it--demand better pay for the hourly workers---you cant tell me that walmart doesnt have enought to pay the hourly employees more
