    Equal employment opportunity. Great benefits and discounts . Education programs.

    Cons

    Only one day off out of the whole year that Walmart is closed on Christmas day.. While Sam club be closed on ever holidays

    Advice to Management

    Be bout your word and do by what you say you will do for your employees when you ask them to help you out in your areas . and help them out in their areas as well. Stop it with Favorite

    Quick PTO gain after a few years

    I worked at Walmart (More than a year)

    Pros

    The management is great and they try to support most of the time.I learned a lot up there it was easy.

    Cons

    Only thing I hate about walmart is price matching some customer comes and price match whole grocery and you can't say anything to them. And i also didn't like bi-weekly pay. And sunday and saturday are like all people in town is in walmart.

    Advice to Management

    Management is great but I don't like Price Matching.

    Well I would actually like to work in anything as long as I'm working at Walmart in general.

    Cons

    This would be my first job if I get accepted, and I would have no experience , but i would like to be committed and try to learn as soon and fast as possible .

    Advice to Management

    The reason I need a job is because I'm at the point where I have to help my parents out as well . They literally pay for everything and I would to help them out and myself .

    Long hours on your feet.And it really get's busy there.

    Just do your job. Don't be afraid to talk to them. There is a open door policy

    Helping people and seeing the smiles on their faces when they receive good customer service brightens your day.

    Cons

    Sometimes the other Employees or Pharmacists start unnecessary drama, instead of working as a team to accomplish work related goals.

    I have been working at Walmart part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Simple to ask for days off. 90% of the time, they will give it to you
    - You stay busy most of the time and the shift goes by quickly
    -One hour lunch and 10% discount
    -being behind the customer service desk, you can take your breaks whenever you want to; as long as there's coverage

    Cons

    - bad scheduling; usually, they leave one employee working the desk and the managers don't bother to help you with your long line of customers
    -most employees only care about themselves. Will not help their fellow associates
    -upper management doesn't recognize your work ethnic
    -customers are rude and disrespectful
    -repetitive job routine
    -lazy employees
    - you have to harrass management to advance into a higher position

    Advice to Management

    Encourage and build your employees. Your employee turn over rate would be much lower of you recognized a job well done.
