I don't think I have ever worked with a more negative unable to think outside the box type of people. There were exceptions of course.

    Advice to Management

Growth opportunity is huge, requires hard work and commitment but, sky is the ceiling. Pay is great.

    Pros

Three Responsibilities: Customer Service, Zoning, Returns.

    Cons

Responsible for 3/4s of the store. Management rides your rear-end to get everything done, whether you have the people to do it or not...

    Advice to Management

Do not ride your associates or your managers when the store doesn't have enough people to get everything done... It's not our fault!!

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Salary was ok and fair health benefits . Company is worldwide , so transferring is very possible . Multiple positions are always available.

    Cons

No raises ever given , company culture is deplorable , Market Manager and lateral positions and above are vile and have zero ethics . Associates and customers are completely rude , crude and uneducated. Stay away !

    Advice to Management

Have ethics , look hard and deep into employee relations complaints , as well as opinion surveys. Be a 2015 company and update your image and dress. Invest in training and pay. No politics. Sam Walton , I know is embarrassed and ashamed of all that is going on and has occurred.
