I worked at Walmart for more than a year

      Pros

For my store, in particular, being an intern was fairly easy however for other stores that may not be the case. You also get a chance to go to Bentonville and tour the Walmart headquarter which was amazing. During your internships, you create a presentation which looks good on your portfolios and you present it in front of executives at the headquarters.

      Cons

Horrible communitication between the home office and the field. Lots of empty promises. If you want to learn more about different positions at walmart good luck, they really just want you to stay in the store.

I worked at Walmart for more than a year

      Pros

The level of access you receive at the world's Fortune 1 company is astounding. I was able to meet the CEO, CMO, and a host of other VPs one-on-one. The culture is very down to earth, and as a result, people take time to help and support you.

      Cons

The company is large and moves fast. If you're not someone who values failing fast and interacting with a lot of people daily, this isn't the place for you.

May be difficult to get across to some people that have been doing things the same way for years.
