    Positive Outlook

I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I loved working at WalMart, because I am a people person and I got to meet people from all over, that came and went on a daily basis.

    Cons

The only down fall that I experienced was the hours given to employees that did not have transportation and the public transportation stopped before the end of their shift and no accommodations were made,

    Advice to Management

If you have a great employee that is willing and ready to work at the drop of a dime, you should try to accommodate them to keep the morale going and turn around at a minimum.

I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay is good, you get to meet a lot of people, the job isn't super hard, it's a great way to train in a lot of different ways, and discounts!!!

    Cons

Most times after eight there's only one other person there, sometimes customers can be a challenge, and having to park in the very back of the lot.

    Advice to Management

The deli workers have it difficult so make sure you don't lose them.

I worked at Walmart part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Your always busy so the day goes buy quickly. If you work hard the appreciate you. There is always something in the break room to reward employees for their hard work. Great job for someone going to college, or a young person who has time to put into working their way up.

    Cons

There is usually more to get done than you can finish in a shift. Helping customers find things can be overwhelming at times, especially after the store gets re-organized. You don't get a lot of hours if you are part time.

    Advice to Management

More employee reviews would be helpful for employees. More notice of not getting requested days off, instead of finding out when the schedule is posted.
