Start pay is 9.00. Good Associates. Good benefits. Quarterly Store bonus based on inventory and sales.

    Cons

Not enough invested in personal training. No follow up by management with on-going problems. Poor scheduling...not enough asociates at peak times.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Walmart full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Much higher starting pay rates. A lot of advancement opportunities. A decent benefits package.

    Cons

Have to work a lot of the holidays. Always have to end a meeting with the Walmart cheer.

    Advice to Management

I've worked with a lot of talented managers, but some still need to work on their communication. Stop making us do the cheer, no one likes it and it doesn't boost the morale.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fast paced work environment, good benefits for dedicated employees, above minimum wage pay.

    Cons

Little support from management. Sometimes there are a million things that need to be done at the same time. (i.e. Rotisserie chickens, fried chicken, dishes, etc...). Can be a very stressful occupation during busy hours.

    Advice to Management

Be more understandable of your deli associates. They need at least TWO employees assisting customers at all times. Sometimes management wants employees to leave the area when it is inappropriate to customers.
