I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -communication skill improve
-learn to go along with the fast pace environment (for cashiers)

    Cons

-management did not care to look at my availability > i was in school and they would schedule me when i had class.
-not enjoyable when they would constantly ask us to work more hours than we could >we have our availability times for a reason

    Advice to Management

Try to understand that a lot of the people working here are students and we have things likes homework so cannot be working all of the time. It is unreasonable when you schedule us to work until 11pm on school nights.
