I have been working at Walmart part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is decent for the work as long as you don't end up in cap 2. $9 an hour.

    Cons

Management is terrible at communication. One time I was asked to put together supplies that had been ordered by a school. I was given a list, which told me the amount of each product to get. Unfortunately we had sold too many and did not have enough to fill the order. Which they were coming to get tomorrow. On top of that I was promised a $1 raise after three months of work. Nope. Now I have to complete an entire online program to get it. Which has taken 5 months so far. It then told me I had to wait 14 days to do the next part. Another coworker had to wait 29. So yah. It's like they don't want us to have the... Oh wait. Also cap 2 sucks. I was stuck there for a while, you unload trucks, organize freight, pull it out to the floor, and stock it. Basically all the other shifts jobs rolled into one. Except with less people. And they expect you to get done.

    Advice to Management

Communicate better. You will do better if you can actually manage to listen to your employees, maybe people won't be so discontent like you keep complaining they are.

I have been working at Walmart full-time

    Pros

You're not unemployed, your fellow employees are actually pretty cool

    Cons

The pay is horrible for what you're doing, the attendance policy is so strict that it's no wonder that they're constantly having to hire new people.

    Advice to Management

Don't make us wait for that dollar raise we need to survie
