    I worked at Walmart full-time

    Pros

Benefits are offered and room for advancement.

    Cons

Micromanaging is a big thing for all managers. This doesn't happen to just one store, it happens everywhere because that is what they're trained to do. A few employees have gotten injured multiple times on the job because they work you to the bone and no appreciation from any upper management. Black friday is the worst day of your life. No time with your family for the holidays and 10% discount is offered (total). Horrible experience and horrible company to work for.

    Advice to Management

Don't ever use the phrase, "if you don't do it, then someone on the street will..."

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Full benefits only if you're a full time employee.

    Cons

Rude people. Bad management the right hand doesn't know where the left hand is at. Management and customers are very rude and disrespectful towards employees. Really bad experience for me as an employee. Would not recommend anyone to work here. Physically, mentally abused on the daily. Cronies get the best hours. Wasn't scheduled for an entire half a month. Don't work here too much drama too much stress for your life.

    Advice to Management

Constant communication with the entire staff.

    Cons

Everything is horrible all the time. It sucks the life out of you. Your only happy when you drive home for the day.

    Advice to Management

Upper Management is exactly like Jurassic Park with T-Rexes, Pterodactyls, and Velociraptors.

    Neutral Outlook

    Pros

Collect a paycheck, health benefits are good

    Cons

Understaffed, home office will eliminate associates' job titles thus putting more pressure on salaried management. Store manager expects you to work 1-2 hours over your 10 hour schedule EVEN if you execute all his/her notes and have completed our routines. Hourly associates have little incentive to work harder, hard to motivate. No life. WM does not respect work/life balance. Horrible, horrible moral. Always critical, very little recognition. Mgmt and associates always throwing each under the bus to avoid responsibility. Subservient culture.

    Advice to Management

Leave as soon as you can. Do not wait until it becomes unbearable.

Favoritism change of schedules all of a sudden 3 to 4 days off weekend staff always struggling due to lack of scheduling. Just a horrible job that pays low and no living wages at all just living hell

    Advice to Management

Nothing you can tell them because they won't listen to you at all
