I worked at Walmart (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is actually pretty high, from what I've seen compared to competitors. Usually the employees aren't too shabby, and the ones that are don't last long.

    Cons

Unprofessionalism abounds. Corporate is terrible at communicating to their managers in stores and loves to point the finger rather than work towards a solution.

    Advice to Management

Communicate better. It's not that hard. Even a few phone calls a month would be a major improvement.

Company cares about the customer and every interaction, big on safety and gives you a chance to improve.

    Cons

It can be frustrating to want to improve the conditions of the section you are in for the better and hit walls even if you could help the company make more money and it’s hard to look for better positions sometimes cause theres people locked on them.
