I worked at Walmart full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

freedom to run your business, mission that aligns with your community needs

    Cons

excessive amounts of unwritten rules/ politics, you're an at will employee and they will treat you as such, excessive amounts of stress over leadership changes

    Advice to Management

While this is a simple business, you have leaders at store and market level spending excessive amounts of time working on things to satisfy your ego that bring no value to the stores and how we run them. This usually is one of the 1st signs that an organization has gotten too big.
