I have been working at Walmart as an intern (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Room to grow outside of a staff pharmacist position. Unlike most competitors, pharmacist allowed 0.5-1 hour lunch breaks depending on staffing. Pharmacy is not 24 hours.

    Cons

Poor staffing in general. Poor upper management. The technicians and most of Wal-Mart's staff are unpaid and overworked. This is a perfect recipe for angry, pessimistic, rude, and unreliable people working for this company. I have been to multiple Wal-Marts in my area and they all have incredibly rude staff.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees.
