    I worked at Walmart full-time

    Pros

•Gym membership for $9 PER PAYCHECK
•Work with some incredible people that will become lifelong friends
    •Decent pay starting in March

    Cons

    Where to begin..
•Higher management doesn't listen to the "little guys"
    •Termination for any reason imaginable
•Schedule is non negotiable unless it works best for their look
•The "open door" policy is only setting you up to be retaliated against, and you will lose your job
•Job stability seems great until you're being let go because "you've got too much going on in your personal life" such as a death in the family
This company is not what they let on to be. I used to love my job. Not anymore.

    Advice to Management

Mr. Sam would roll over in his grave. Treat your people with respect or you will pay the consequences.

I worked at Walmart (Less than a year)

    Pros

I like photography so being at the Photo Center fit pretty well for me. I know cameras, and was happy to help customers if they had any questions in that regard. It can be a pretty slow paced place to work, but also has it's downsides
You learn how to treat people working retail, or anywhere else really while outside of work.

    Cons

Slow paced. Of course not everyday was slow, but you're expected to always be doing something even if you've done everything that needed to be completed. For example cleaning printers, maintenance for printers & kiosks.
Bad hours - working weekends so can't ever do stuff with friends. My days off were Tuesday and Wednesday. Yeah not really ideal.

    Advice to Management

Give proper training on the floor without having associates "figure out" how things work. Makes customers impatient, and makes the job more stressful than it has to be in the beginning
