I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Comfortable schedule. Hours are okay depending on your job code. Able to get promoted.

    Cons

Stressful especially during holidays. Company doesn’t really care about a persons life outside of the company. Management are either in a good mood or bad depending on their boss. Management just sucks basically. You’ll find maybe 1 or 2 good managers but that’s like it.

    Advice to Management

STOP BEING LAZY ! Just learn what you have to do and follow through with it. Don’t be a jerk about things all the time. Doesn’t get you respect.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    It's a job. That's pretty much it.

    Cons

You are informed your pay will be 10hr but when you are hired, you are then told your pay is $9hr until you are at the company for 6 months. Walmart is all about if you fit in with "Management". If you don't treat them like royalty, or call them out on questionable practices, your schedule will change when you are not aware, and or your hrs will be cut to nothing until you quit.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring managers, promoting people based on how much they kiss up to you, or if they "friend" you on facebook.
