I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You work at Wal-Mart, if you show up and don't cause issues, you will likely never be fired.

    Cons

I don't normally tell people I work at WalMart

    Advice to Management

We all work at WalMart. None of us are truly proud of it; a job is a job. So just because you are one rank above the majority, it really doesn't mean to much in the end. We're all in this together.

I have been working at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Quick interview, friendly associates, opportunity for advancement.

    Cons

I feel like a number, not a person. It's obvious that the company cares about quantity not quality when it comes to both employees as a whole and their work.

    Advice to Management

Make the training more personalized, work with my hours more.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Growing company with many opportunities for advancement, Decent pay. many positions to help forge a career path within the company.

    Cons

Many unrealistic expectations placed on hourly associates. Many examples of favoritism/ nepotism exist. High Associate turnover rate , and the revolving door does not work for everyone equally.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to remember back to when they were an hourly employee and how it felt to them when their bosses treated them unfairly or gave rewards to those who didn't deserve them. Treat your associates more equally.
