I have been working at Walmart full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I get to be on my feet all day, (not stuck in an office).
I don't do the same thing everyday (my job changes a lot throughout the day as customer needs change)

    Cons

Both of the things listed above (for some people)
Longer hours than being a cashier, sometimes those hours suck (4pm to 1 am)

    Advice to Management

Talk to us! My direct supervisors have made my life easy by telling me what needs to happen.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Goid environment a lot of good nice people

    Cons

I broke my arm in several places including my funny bone. I finally went to the Dr. Of coarse I knew it was broke. However, I had discovered my Med Insurance had not been Active since there last open enrollment which was a year ago on November of 2017. The said there was a glitch. They don't have a glitch deducting all the money out of my paycheck every 2 weeks. My Other family members are covered??????? A lot of very lazy people in positions they shouldn't be in. One person does things very well & organized easy to follow work. The person behind them disasters the dept. The next day all your doing is fixing someone elses f ups

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees!

    Pros

Great opportunities to move up and Ok benefits and a secure job place. Walmart’s not going anywhere for a while

    Cons

Work long hours at same pay. Too much OT for managers and you don’t ever get to spend time with your family, with all the OT hourly associates make more money than most managers.
Training for upper management it’s the worse, you learn as you go but also get written up for those mistakes.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to managers!!!
