    Competitive Pay
    Many locations for ample promotion opportunity

    Cons

    Management positions are eliminated regularly leaving you to apply for a different one.
    Realign districts annually leaving new area managers to relearn the talent. You have to constantly reprove yourself to new management.

    Advice to Management

    Make sure you go above and beyond goals. Be willing to relocate lateral moves.

    Some of the best reasons to work here is cause they always have work for you to do and alot of it

    Cons

    Some of the down sides is customers can be cruel and the pay could be better I think. It's sad

    Advice to Management

    Quit being so up tight. As long as I'm working and doing what I'm told it don't matter.

    Steady work, decent pay, decent benefits if your'e there long enough.

    Retain's employee that have no drive, passion, skills, and are toxic on the rest of the good one's.

    Advice to Management

    More employee reviews, (actual reviews, instead of managers simply meeting with someone for a total of 30 seconds so that they have something to write down and show the store manager). Transparency and communication is key to sustaining in an every growing internet business and shrinking brick retail.

    You can work hard all you want, but your manager is never around to notice it, or reward you for it.

    helping people to find the things that they really want and seeing the smiles on their faces of appreciation by making they day go right

    Cons

    the disappointment is when you have to tell the customer we don't have it in the stock or we don't carry it at the store anymore but you can always get it online and have free pickup

    get to know your associates spend 10 minutes of your spare time teaching them how to use they hands on tools make sure they doing they jobs correctly because it make difference through out the entire store

    Pros

    Many decent people work there, competitive starting pay. You get what you put into the job. It's easy to find a niche in most stores and take ownership of it.

    Cons

    Lack of clear direction from management, many associates don't put in their fair share, customers who treat you like trash.

    Advice to Management

    They need to support their associates better, not just throw people into the deep end and yell at them when they don't know how to swim.
