I have been working at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing benefits as well as mentoring assistance in areas such as budgeting, financing, and even furthering personal education. Not mention, the work culture is phenomenal.

    Cons

Haven't seen one yet. Perhaps possibly the unnecessary uses of time spent isn't relatively b necessary or maybe try improving the operations of store such as replenishment, picking/puling/reviving and the time spent four certain tasks.

    Advice to Management

More on hands training perhaps, sticking strictly to the electronic training module may lead to more mishaps in the future due to retention inability caused from technical difficulties.

I worked at Walmart part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good first job while in college, offers very flexible hours, friendly coworkers, 1hr lunch break and two 15 minute breaks, 10% discount on groceries (but only on select items and if you're part-time you have to be there for 3 months first)

    Cons

Low pay and Heavily micro-managed. Too many managers made it very hard for me to complete any task because once I started one thing, several managers from a different department asked me to do another. Promotions are based on being buddies with managers. I worked in grocery, but they only wanted to hire part time workers so we were very understaffed. Many days, I would be the only one in grocery and sometimes there wouldn't be anyone because they made me assist other departments instead.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring people part time!!!! Most of your departments are very understaffed because of this causing a very stressful environment. Making it extremely hard to complete tasks. Stop forcing people to clock out earlier for fear of overtime

I worked at Walmart part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

None whatsoever. Worked there 7 years making minimum wage then was fired with no warnings or write ups because I called my family on Easter and took 10 minutes too long on a break. Instant termination.

    Cons

Too many to list. Would go lower than 1 star if I could.

    Advice to Management

instead here's my advice to customers: stop shopping here and put them out of business!
