I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There's so many people working there from a big variety of backgrounds that you won't feel out of place. They expect you as a low level employee or low level manager to work really really hard so people are usually willing to help one another out to make sure everything gets done on time.

    Cons

The pay isnt really competitive, and the work environment can be stressful because they expect a lot out of you, I worked in production but helped out n other areas as well, so it may have something to do with the area I worked in being a little more hectic then others.

    Advice to Management

Treat you're low level managers well, they do the brunt of the work, and get hardly any pay difference from people who are responsible for much less, they're the reason the store is running and I'm not sure they get the credit or compensation they deserve.
