I worked at Walmart full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You know what you're getting yourself into.

    Cons

Biweekly pay, stingy corporation, Wal-Mart likes to advertise itself as a company that promotes from within but the location that I dealt with didn't want to bother cross training me so I could move forward.

    Advice to Management

The turnover rate will decrease if you raise the pay or at least pay weekly. All employees handle BS that nobody wants to deal with for minimum wage.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The company is rife with opportunities for advancement leaving plenty of room to grow and develop your skill set, whether in a store or logistics/development.

    Cons

The company seems to be painting with a broad brush in terms of direction. With the advent of one best way, the innovation and mantra to listen to your associates ideals seems to be falling away.

    Pros

Bonuses, rare occasion of a cool boss.

    Cons

Everything, the pay, the way you're treated, you got to see something happen to believe it, never can work fast enough, management is never happy with the work you've done, never get a thank you.. you did a good job. Severely understaffed, have to make up the work of the other employees that should of been hired.

    Understand we're only human.
