I have been working at Walmart full-time

    Pros

Learning experience, education assistance, flexible schedule, quarterly bonuses

    Cons

Management sucks, low pay, work you like a dog, disgruntled employees, favoritism amongst family , 6 point system.

    Advice to Management

Please acknowledge the employees that are hard working, it brings low moral when they are never acknowledged, actually have managers that do more than just boss ppl around and talk on their phones,

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Pay is good. Most of your regular employees are very nice and helpful.

    Cons

Management has no respect for others. Speak and treat us like we don’t matter. You always on pins and needles from being threatened all the time about job even when you do your best. Don’t care if you sick or in hospital. Nothing matters to them but money

    Advice to Management

Learn to others below you with respect. Stop thinking you better than anyone else.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The job is good and you can establish great and lasting relationships with customers and co-workers.

    Cons

Walmart does not value good employees. They work you to the bone and do not reward you for it. The management stays true to the company over everything and will throw you under to save themselves at any given moment.

    Advice to Management

Be more compassionate and understanding, and realize that company policy is great but when life happens as it does daily, take that into consideration before you act. Also it is not the responsibility of the group d level.employees to pad the pockets of those above us.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some managers are good, some of the benefits are good.

    Cons

Most of the managers are bad, the scheduling is atrocious, the pay isn't worth the abuse you have to put up with.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with some respect. Schedule for proper coverage. Don't coach your staff for things that they didn't do because you're in a bad mood. Set your team up for success, not failure.
