    Pros

Steady paycheck. Can work many different positions.

    Cons

Where to start? You're overworked and underappreciated. You're always short staffed. People are put in their positions with little to no training.

I have been working at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay is fairly good for this area.

    Cons

Management is uneducated, unexperienced, and untrained. They really need some leadership development courses to learn how to influence their employees and treat people with kindness and respect.

    Advice to Management

If you take care of your employers, they will go above and beyond for the company.

I have been working at Walmart full-time

    Pros

Walmart offers fair prices against it's competitors and does well in price matching.

    Cons

Poor management; low wages; lack of work accountability; low standard expectations; poor training; ZERO incentives or benefits; low marks for resolving employee issues and complaints

    Advice to Management

If management doesn't fix the training and accountability issues that are rapidly occurring mainly with the cap two 2-11 shift, the new Walmart business model will fail and go down in flames

I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay was ok and the location was near my home.

    Cons

It was the most stressful job I've ever had. I worked the service desk which handled money services as well as basic returns and exchanges. Worst setup ever. The lines were always long and the people impatient. Management was always so overwhelmed you always had to wait a while before they'd come help which just added to the client's impatience.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a job for lazy workers. Being a good worker will get you fired. Be terrible & whiny & you will get raises & Employee Of The Month.

    Cons

Lazy/unreliable employees don't get disciplined. Hard working employees don't get treated fair. Open door policy is a joke. Violate their own rules of safely.

    Advice to Management

Treat hard workers better. Don't coddle lazy workers. Recognize team players. Promote based on knowledge, not friendship.

They are open late which is good for a night shift worker

    Cons

There is nothing you can get too of you go in at night because every lane is blocked off

    Advice to Management

Get your priorities straight. Long lines , half the products missing, disgruntled employees and customers. Wow way to go Crosby Hellmart!

I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the people you work with can be nice

    Cons

They did not train me very well at all, they were incredibly short staffed and sent me out unprepared. I had to learn through mistakes and when youre in a customer service job the last thing people want their cashier to do is make a mistake and cost them even more time.
I got yelled at all the time by customers to the point to where I almost started crying and my manager just let me stand there, didnt offer help at all.

    Advice to Management

Support your staff. Teach them well early on so you dont have to help with their mistakes later.
