    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Pay, benefits, workplace flexibility, bonus ability, great CEO

    Cons

Some management is a part of the good old boy club and if you aren't a part of that it is often hard to advance. Some leaders should not be in their positions. Reorganization almost every year is difficult for the employees. Transparency is very tough from upper management to their direct reports.

    Advice to Management

If layoffs are going to be held, please don't make people wait or just hear rumors. Being direct with your employees and not your investors or the public would be appreciated. The rumor mill is crazy at home office and it needs to be taken care of. If someone complains or talks to HR, it truly isn't an open door policy or experience. Doug is doing a great job and reminds a lot of the tenured associates of Mr. Sam. He is a great man trying to do great things for the associates but transparency in various departments needs to be revamped and worked on.
