    Pros

You will learn different areas of the building.

    Cons

They cut hours constantly. One week you may have all your hours and the next week you don't. You will work for your pay.

    Advice to Management

People that work for you have families to take care of. Understand that alot of the employee's are on welfare benefits to substitute what they are not making.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It built me as far as being patient, staying calm and productive under pressure yet executing tasks with sense of urgency

    Cons

Management. Retaliation and favoritism is seen.. very very discouraging

    Advice to Management

Lead by example... no shortcuts and train yourself before you try and train a hopeful associate that is eager and willing to advance their Walmart career. Always stay professional.. do not try and make friends with everybody. Lead by example

    Pros

    Co-Workers are great
    Bonuses
    Great benefits

    Cons

The backroom can be very hot
    Scheduling especially during holidays
Other departments don't appreciate the work that we do
They push you a lot to make sure the items are available for customers

    Advice to Management

Stockers deserve more pay for all the work that we do. If we weren't there to unload the truck or to stock the items the merchandise wouldn't be available to customers

I have been working at Walmart full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I am a new employee. they seem to have a lot of benefits including a stock purchase program

    Cons

So far, I don't have any 'cons', except that no one seems to like cleaning the parking lots. I do it because I'm happy to be working.

    Advice to Management

Everyone is a little disorganized when it came to getting to the right person that was going to interview me. it took three trips to the store to find her.

I have been working at Walmart part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

High wages than minimum wage. Definate flexible hours. Some great benefits like vision and dental. You get a discount after three months of working there

    Cons

Even when you work hard it doesn't get you anything. Some management does acknowledge the work or make broken promises and award the lazy workers

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your associates needs. Like myself I can't survive on less the 32 hour work weeks.

    I worked at Walmart full-time

    Pros

I enjoyed working for WALMART for the most part. Lots of potential for growth, great training and great people for the most part.

    Cons

I can't really find any downfalls except I guess for busy times of the year. Sometimes that gets overwhelming. I didn't care for Black Friday either.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work on training. I would say let's train a little bit more on customer service and customer satisfaction. Some people can be pretty rude and clueless
