I have been working at Walmart part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Very flexible hours, decent pay, able to work at 16, usually able to work overtime, hour long lunches with two 15min breaks, 10% off everything.

    Cons

You have standards on how long you can take

    Advice to Management

If you out multiple people on a section and times aren't being met, try to understand that not everyone might be slacking

    I worked at Walmart

    Pros

Pay is more than other retail stores can offer.

    Cons

There is no such thing as an 'open door'. Retaliation is a hige issue in this market.

I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Benefits are decent for medical but really good for dental and vision insurance. The overall working environment was good too.

    Cons

Micromanaging from some managers made it difficult to complete tasks. Pay is not as great as it could be. The training in most positions were 'sink or swim' style and leaves a lot of unanswered questions for new associates.

    Advice to Management

Allow for more hours and provide better training methods for all levels of associates.
