I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Money is alright, The associates, and being able to run your 'own business"

    Cons

No work life balance, impossible metrics you're required to meet, no overtime lol, having to stay over more hours than you are scheduled, but it's fine because you're salary :), again no overtime, It's never enough.

    Advice to Management

This job can be a great job, and in some cases, there is probably Walmart's where the ASM's are treated fairly and do work as a team. My advice would be to just network yourself and visit stores. Find an area where you feel most comfortable and welcomed and ask questions, and whatever it may seem.. just know that the people do make the difference.

      I worked at Walmart part-time

      Pros

There are no pro's to working this job.

      Cons

Everything from favoritism to racism to just being a terrible human being in general. The management here is the absolute worst! Also you only get a 10% off discount on electronics working here. As big as Walmart is that's the only discount you get!

      Advice to Management

There are racist managers. Managers will wrongfully target you, spread your personal business, make up lies about you, they only favor the workers that are potatoes and commit time theft on a daily bases. Let me know how fair it is people can take AN HOUR LONG PAID 15 and TWO HOUR LONG LUNCHES, but if you come back a minute late you are fired. There are worker's here constantly on their phones, taking selfies ON THE FLOOR,...

I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than a year

      Pros

They do have full time jobs for regular employees which is very rare in retail.

      Cons

I worked in two different stores, and what a difference that makes. The first one was very professional but easy going. The current one noone is professional at all.

      Advice to Management

Maybe have training so all of the HR and store bosses behave the same.
