    Pros

    WalMart Was flexible with my schedule and allowed me to finish my schooling. I had extra money in my pocket that went towards buying books and food during the semester.

    Cons

    I enjoyed my job. Watching people and helping people find want they needed helped me grow as a professional and as an adult.

    Continue creating opportunities for others and helping them develop as professionals.

    Customers can be pretentious, management is not always helpful, and the attendance policy is outrageous.

    Friendly coworkers, good training technique

    Cons

    no overtime, the one time I did get overtime they didn’t schedule me to work for a week , they will give you no hours during the week and schedule all of your hours on the weekends

    Pros

    You cannot, I repeat CANNOT get bored here. Especially as apparel associate. Given proper training and management it was the best job I had to unfortunately leave.

    Cons

    Only thing I didn't like but usually didn't mind, I'm a busy body, was being left alone in my two departments for several hours.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more people only specifically for the register. Taking associates off the floor leaves their department too vulnerable. Makes zoning more difficult and the associate gets reprimanded for not being there. Even though they are working register.
