I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

very good base salary and over all compensation package, in bay area.

    Cons

company enforces (whisper) average employment length to 2 years; so, one cannot avail all the initial negotiated compensation package.
incompetent e-commerce division in bay area and lost to jet.com.
power struggle between HQ in Bentonville and in Bay Area.
struggling hard to fit in bay area.
introduced OKR process but failed miserably in implementation details.
most are staying because of their own reasons like H1B Visas, lengthy Green Card processing.
women are struggling most with hardly any promotions and any career growth training.

    Advice to Management

talent comes in any form and in any color.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazing Culture, lot of tech talks, casual talks, outings. Opportunity to make Walmart big in online commerce as well.

    Cons

I do not see longer vision for investment into technologies which would help it become number 1 in e-commerce.
