I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

For an 8 hour shift, you would get like 3 breaks. Discount was okay.

    Cons

    Favorism, of course.
Odd work conditions. (Broken A.C. during summer for weeks.)
Constantly being thrown in different departments.
    Lack of communication amongst management.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better, treat other managers better, and your staff will be less bitter.

I have been working at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are good hours given, it's pretty quiet working overnight, and my coworkers are a huge boost to make my night go by fairly quick.

    Cons

There's definitely a lot of work to be done every night, there's never really a down day, the management is very adamant about making sure work is done no matter what.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

As a full time college student the hours were excellent, pay was ehhhh but the hours evened it out sort of.

    Cons

Work outside of your position when needed, too many demands and responsibilities for a minimum wage position and the management can be hard to get to and/or level with.

    Advice to Management

Always keep the channels of communication open so that employees feel appreciated and not used.

    Cons

Hours suck!! Walmart comes up with different rules daily.

    Advice to Management

Work as a manager for walmart for a year or two and move on to another company
