    I worked at Walmart part-time

    Pros

You cannot, I repeat CANNOT get bored here. Especially as apparel associate. Given proper training and management it was the best job I had to unfortunately leave.

    Cons

Only thing I didn't like but usually didn't mind, I'm a busy body, was being left alone in my two departments for several hours.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people only specifically for the register. Taking associates off the floor leaves their department too vulnerable. Makes zoning more difficult and the associate gets reprimanded for not being there. Even though they are working register.

    Cons

No consistent schedule , they will make you come in even during bad weather, insensitive management

    Advice to Management

Is weather is too bad to drive and an associate feels the need to leave early they should not be written up.

I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

For an 8 hour shift, you would get like 3 breaks. Discount was okay.

    Cons

    Favorism, of course.
Odd work conditions. (Broken A.C. during summer for weeks.)
Constantly being thrown in different departments.
    Lack of communication amongst management.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better, treat other managers better, and your staff will be less bitter.

I have been working at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are good hours given, it's pretty quiet working overnight, and my coworkers are a huge boost to make my night go by fairly quick.

    Cons

There's definitely a lot of work to be done every night, there's never really a down day, the management is very adamant about making sure work is done no matter what.
