I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Decent work, Lots of potential to move up. Flexible hours (If you aren't salaried).

    Cons

One person for a job that takes 3 people, Understaffed most of the time. You will work very hard.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Walmart part-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Good pay and raises every year. If you have no outside life, you will thrive. Keep your opinions too your self.

    Cons

Long hours if you take them, or no hours at all. At times, hours are cut to very little. No room for an outside life. All commitment to your job and nothing else.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees more like human beings. And quit lying to them.

I have been working at Walmart part-time for more than a year

    Pros

You meet some great people. Your coworkers become like family because no one else understands the crap you go through in that place.

    Cons

No credit. You get used and abused. If you are not on your death bed then do not call out. No one ever gets full time unless you've been there at least 15 years. You get belittled a lot. Management can be inappropriate. Favoritism gets you far and other favors can get you even father. Count on working until your body can't take it anymore and then keep working. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to work for this company.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like human beings. We aren't robots. Appreciate them. Reevaluate some of your policies.

I have been working at Walmart part-time for more than a year

    Pros

The only pro about walmart is that if you are desperate for money you at least get a small paycheck. it may not be enough to fully support yourself but it is enough to sometimes buy so groceries so that you dont starve to death

    Cons

Walmart will treat you like a number, they absolutely do not care anything about their employees, They will tell you their rules then purposely put you into situations where you have to break the rules in order to complete your job, if you dont do what they say you will get coached, if you do what they say you will get coached for breaking the rules. they always want you to be close to being fired so that they can... easily replace you once youve been there long enough to make more than minimum wage. Im a good employee and i work very hard and im always treated horribly and i see everyone else treated horribly, I have worked in 4 different stores and it is always the same in every store.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating your employees like crap! They are humans and they deserve to be treated with respect. Some of you were once hourly associates. Remember how Sam Walton actually wanted his company ran. All of you would not have your jobs if he did not decide to open walmart. Respect for the individual is gone! Please bring it back. Sam would fire all of you for what you have done to his company

I worked at Walmart full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nothing all they care about are themselves. Give you 15 minute break lol. Overall though they are horrible and should be considered a monopoly.

    Cons

They suck and pay crap. And if you dont kiss their butt, well your screwed. I cant believe a company making the money they do pays their staff so bad. Dont even compensate with kindness.

    Advice to Management

    Care more about the employees.
