I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than 9 years

    Pros

the pros are the pay and the people

    Cons

the management and communication. for example my son broke his leg and i was held accountable for the 2 days i missed. Not know that there was a polciy that i needed to call this company and give them the information then call in 3 days so that is can be expunged. They have the absolute worst communication and the no fault policy which is ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

    remembering were human

I worked at Walmart full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

They provide competitive pay and decent benefits, some holidays off, in-house department transfers/shift transfers available. They strive to make the facility as clean and safe as possible.

    Cons

Physically demanding. The temperature inside the warehouse would depend on the outside weather but they did there best help keep us warm in the winter and cool/hydrated in the summer. Long hours and mandatory overtime during seasonal influx(also seen as a pro)

    Advice to Management

Don't forget to treat your people as individuals and not just an employee number.
