    Pros

The pay is good. The workers are decent.

    Cons

It’s just the managers who don’t understand communication skills, and accountability. They treat us like slaves, and have zero human remorse for their own actions.

    Advice to Management

Listen to understand, not listen to respond.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Growth with the company is limited to the desire and motivation of the individual. You're able to collaborate with numerous leaders if you're driven to succeed.

    Cons

Constant change at Walmart. If it wasn't for change there would not be the many opportunities for growth. That being said, the company preaches the 4 basic beliefs but with the multitude of incoming outside hires, the foundational belief and message is watered down and no longer supports the respect for the individual belief if you're salaried. This tends to be for hourly associates only.

    Advice to Management

Be consistent with your message regarding 4 basic beliefs.

HedgeRow Partners is a Real Estate Investment Company founded in 2017 by Walter R. Mendoza based in Washington DC. HedgeRow focuses on maximizing risk adjusted returns with a value driven approach all the while preserving and enhancing the rich architectural heritage of the nation’s capital and its surrounding neighborhoods. Hedgerow uses analytics and data driven models to identify investment properties. Our team then sets upon the “maximize value phase” where we provide redevelopment capital necessary to convert properties to their highest and best uses using our own expertise and that of design professionals and consultants. Then we set upon the “execution phase” with our team of skilled craftsmen, tradesmen, and contractors.
